How quickly will you send an engineer if something goes wrong?We aim to respond to repair requests within 24 hours. From there, we'll schedule an appointment. While engineer attendance is dependent on availability, Service Plan subscribers receive priority.

How do I organise a repair?To book a repair, simply contact our customer service team with your customer's boat details. You can reach us by phone, email, or through our website. Once we have the necessary information, we will schedule a repair appointment at the earliest available time, ensuring your customer's boat is back in optimal condition as quickly as possible.

Where is the Service plan available?The Service plan is available in select locations around the world. If you would like details on where you can sign-up please get in touch below. When you sign-up to the plan a "Home Location" Will be defined where Services and Repairs are included within the agreement. Any Repairs or Services outside of the home are wil lbe subject to an out of area charge which will be dependent on the location.

How much does it cost?The Service plan pricing is location dependent - Contact your dealer for detailed pricing.

Is there an excess for repairs?Yes, for any repairs needed between servicing, a flat charge—specified in the agreement—covers all associated labor costs. All spare parts are included.

What is included in the annual service?The Makefast Service Plan provides an annual service for your Makefast Sunroof or Awning. Our approved engineers will visit your boat to ensure that all mechanisms are serviced properly for your peace of mind. This service may include checking cable tension, adjusting sensor positioning, servicing track cars, aligning nose cones, and more. All necessary replacement parts for the service are included*, ensuring you can enjoy complete peace of mind. *Please note: Replacement canvases are not included and will be charged separately.

How do I book an annual service?When you have signed up, your boat details are uploaded to our system. When the next service is due, an email will be sent, notifying your supporting dealer that your boat is scheduled for a service.

What is not covered?When the Makefast engineer first attends the boat, they will conduct a thorough survey to ensure we can cover all parts. Any faults caused by third-party repairs, design faults from the boat manufacturer, or any access issues will not be covered.
